FAQ

  • How do I RSVP?
You can RSVP directly through this website — everything you need is right here! Just head over to the RSVP page, fill out the form, and let us know if you’ll be joining us in Tuscany.
  • Can I bring a plus one?
We’d love to host everyone, but space is limited. Plus ones are only included if they are specified on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
  • Who should I contact if I have questions?
For now, please feel free to reach out directly to the bride and groom with any questions. Once we’re all in Tuscany, a dedicated contact person will be available for on-site events — we’ll share those details with you closer to the big day.
  • What are the closest airports to Lucca?
The closest airports to Lucca are Pisa International Airport (PSA)—just 30 minutes away by car—and Florence Airport (FLR), about 1 hour away. Both are well connected with flights across Europe. For those coming from Montréal, Rome (FCO) and Milan (MXP) offer the widest range of international flights, with convenient train connections to Tuscany.
  • Should I rent a car?
Taxis or car sharing services are notoriously unreliable and expesive in Tuscany. We recommend you rent a car for the duration of your stay.
  • How do I get from the airport to the villas?
If you choose not to rent a car, the villa can arrange transportation from a nearby train station or airport for a fee. Please let us know if you’d like to use this service, and we will put you in contact with the venue.
  • Is parking available at the villas?
Yes, plenty of parking spaces are available at both villas.
  • Where will guests be staying?
We have rented Villa Daniela Grossi and Villa La Volpe for everyone’s stay during the three day celebration. Villa Daniela Grossi will be the heart of all wedding events, while Villa La Volpe—just a 5-minute stroll away—will be a charming extension of our little Tuscan village.
  • How much does the accommodation cost, and how do I pay?
To make things easy, we’ve arranged the villas in advance and kindly ask for a contribution of $150 CAD per adult per night. If you plan on attending the full wedding celebrations, you will be with us for a total of 3 nights. The full amount can be e-transfered to [email protected] before April 2nd 2026.
  • Will rooms be assigned?
We’ll take care of assigning the rooms so all you have to do is settle in, relax, and enjoy la dolce vita with us.
  • Check-In & Check-Out?
Check-in will be available from 4:00 PM on June 1st, and check-out is by 10:00 AM on June 4th. Since the villas are private homes rather than hotels, we won’t be able to accommodate early arrivals or late departures — thank you so much for understanding!
  • Is breakfast included?
A delicious breakfast will be included each morning at the villas to start the day right.
  • Which meals are provided during the wedding week?
We will be providing every meal throughout the three days so you can simply relax and enjoy. The only exception will be lunch on the wedding day, as we imagine many of you will be out exploring the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
  • Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?
    Yes, we got you covered!
  • What’s the dress code for each event?
We’ve created a detailed dress code guide for each event, complete with Pinterest boards to inspire you. You’ll find everything on the Dress Code page.
  • Will the events be held outdoors?
Yes, all of our celebrations are planned to take place outdoors to make the most of the beautiful Tuscan setting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, don’t worry — we have indoor spaces available so the festivities can continue seamlessly.
  • Can I bring my children?
We adore your little ones! All of our wedding events will be kid-friendly except for the wedding ceremony and dinner, which will be an adults-only celebration so that everyone can fully relax and enjoy the evening. That being said, we kindly ask that you confirm their attendance through the RSVP tab.
  • Will childcare be available during the wedding?
To make things easier for families, we are working on arranging nanny services on the wedding day.
  • Which events are kid-friendly?
Welcome Dinner, Pool Party, Goodbye Dinner.
  • Can we bring grandparents to help with the children?
We would love to welcome everyone, but since both villas are at full capacity if all invitees RSVP yes, we may not be able to accommodate grandparents on site. Grandparents are, of course, more than welcome to stay in nearby accommodations, and once we have a final guest count, we’ll let you know if additional rooms become available in the villas.
  • What’s the weather like in Tuscany in June?
June in Tuscany is usually warm and sunny, with daytime highs around 25–30°C and cooler evenings. Perfect for al fresco dinners and dancing under the stars! We suggest bringing light, breathable clothing for the day, a light layer for evenings, and of course sunscreen and sunglasses for daytime adventures.
  • Are there fun things to do nearby when we’re not at the wedding events?
Lucca is a charming walled city full of history, cobblestone streets, and delicious trattorias. You can stroll along the famous Renaissance walls, explore nearby Pisa and Florence, or simply relax with a glass of wine while soaking in the Tuscan countryside at the pool. Find a few of our favorite recommendations on the Explore page to help you make the most of your time.
  • Will there be transportation provided between villas/events?
We reserved two villas to accommodate all of our guests during the wedding. For those of you staying at Villa La Volpe (5-10min walk from Villa Daniela Grossi), a shuttle service will be available on the day of the wedding.
